Are we Not the Chosen Ones?

It awes me to know it's that time of the year. But don't get me wrong, I love this time of the year as it always gives me the opportunity to reflect and refresh. Honestly, who hasn't been through a frenetic year? Like many of us, t oo much had happened this year (and the last couple of years), and I found it challenging to make time and unwind my unorganised thoughts and feelings. Does anyone feel this too? The world keeps on turning, even when your world is going through the craziest earthquake . The seashore waves are ongoing, even if the previous waves wiggle your balance, even if you find it hard to stand steady. From both an optimistic and less-optimistic point of view, life must go on and you just gotta pick yourself up. What it meant by optimistic, is that you CHOOSE to pick yourself up, because tomorrow may be a brighter day. Lesser optimistic wise, you just HAVE to pick yourself up because the daily task, the chore and everything else are always moving forward...
